It seemed a little strange that Detective Sergeant Kathleen Doyle wound up being the ranking officer on this particular homicide scene It was true that DCI Acton was off somewhere testifying and DI Williams was chasing down this ActonDoyle mystery was compelling and so many hints dropped i didn't figure who did what and why until the author revealed the plot I guess I wouldn't make a good detective I tried to guess but was surprised by the twist at the end I didn't see it comingWell onward to book 7 I want to see how Acton is as a father I really wish this series would get a movie dealit lingers in the mind after reading its thats good
