Savage by Richard LaymIng his victim cowers a fifteen year old boy So begin the adventures of Trevor Bentley a boy who embarked on an er You would think a book about Jack the Ripper meets the old west would be great Umnonot so much The idea of this was great The execution not so much This was such a mediocre book for me Oh well I did finish it and I think that was only because there were some exciting parts interspersed throughout but not enough to give it than 2 stars It also had this whole picaresue romance novel aspect to it which was very off putting The narrator was also very annoying and the ending even so A two star book for me and probably will avoid this author in the future
